My table at The Bishop’s Palace, Wells Wedding Fair was influenced by the art deco theme of glitz and glamour, but combined this with a timeless classic to create my display at The Bishop’s Palace. My colour choice was ivory, white and silvers with hints of black for that art deco monochrome theme.
Absolutely stunning venue and a lovely blank canvas to work with, I wanted to create a centrepiece with height to compliment the beautiful vaulted ceilings.
The centrepiece sat a perfect height, the vase filled with beads to create a crystal look, which then a dome of white carnations, roses, and white anemones sat on top. I chose white anemones for the contrasting colour of white and black and because I absolutely love this flower!
I wanted to create several different heights to the table, with mercury silvered candlesticks, pillar candles, antique mercury silvered tea lights. These added the extra sparkle and glamour to the table.
Handmade menu cards and place names to match the centrepiece.
