Welcome all to my blog, starting afresh and re-introducing myself and the fabulous business that I am in. I am a proud and passionate weddings and events stylist, which means I provide a bespoke service to all my clients, ensuring a swift and enjoyable process of planning your wedding or event, bringing all your dreams to life and enabling you to enjoy the end result.Let’s start first of all with a little information about me. A bespoke service can only really work if it’s a two-way relationship… meaning we need to get to know each other first. Taking it back to the beginning, I found a love for creativity and design when studying art and textiles in school, followed by a degree in textile design from Loughborough university. From here I became a freelance fashion designer, selling swatches around the world to big fashion house destinations, such as New York, Italy, Paris and Japan. Most notably, and proudly for me, this included selling to Vera Wang. I also enjoyed many memorable placements within fashion and home design, sparking my love for the industries and getting to showcase my creativity each and every day.All this has now led me into a job and career that I simply adore, allowing me to be creative, whilst also helping so many couples with their weddings and of course clients with special events. However, you may still be wondering ‘what on earth actually is a wedding/ events stylist’? If so, let me break it down for you in the form of examples of the work that I can help you with. Starting with styling packages, this can include a florist quote if you don’t already have one, hiring out items, outsourcing props, setting up and down, etc… working in the industry, I am able to find the most competitive prices for the most quality product or service for my clients, which is something I really pride myself on. I can also create handmade and beautiful stationery, coordinate suppliers to ensure a stress free set up on the day and provide any other help with design that my clients could see necessary. The list is endless, as each couple I work with is unique and the needs are always different… keeping my job very exciting. My favourite part of the job has to be pulling all the ideas together to bring to life the vision of my clients and just getting to see and admire the final result.So, now you know what it is I can offer you, let’s discuss why you should choose Elizabeth Weddings. We planned our wedding at Orchardleigh House in the South West of England from Bahrain. Liz was an absolute pleasure to work with and made the whole process super easy.
