Walton Castle is a stunning grade II listed castle set in Clevedon, with stunning views to the sea on one side and countryside the other. I was really fortunate to be styling such an amazing venue!
I wanted the theming and colours to work really well with the castle, so I decided to use ivory, white and green tones for the theme.
We were extremely lucky with the weather on the day of the July shoot as it was a hot sunny day!
The steps were decorated with hydrangeas and foliage from Tin Can Floral and white candle lanterns, which looked simple but also elegant. The lit candles in the lanterns are perfect for a midsummers evening.
There were several trees within the grounds and turreted walls of Walton Castle, this was a perfect opportunity to create a wishing tree, strung with white paper lanterns decorated with lace and ribbons, flowers and tea light baubles. A beautiful backdrop for photos. On a day like this the guests could even hang their own messages to the bride and groom.
Turret 1 was decorated with a ivory candelabra centrepiece with ivy and hydrangeas by Tin Can Floral. Pillar candles and tea lights lit the table and it was decorated with a bespoke table runner. I designed handmade menu cards and place names and created these from recycled card to match the theme. The green and lace decorated cake pops by the Cakesmiths tied with lace added that all important finishing touch to the table. I hung the 3D table number from the candelabra arm and wrapped this in lace.
More importantly the shoot needed a bride, modelled by the beautiful Anna, the dress and accessories from The White Collection
