Styling Trends of 2014

With January over and the Wedding seasons starting to pick up, it’s time to look forward at the styling trends of 2014!

There are a lot of themes and designs predicted for 2014 but this is what I think we’ll be seeing more of this year. Leaving vintage tea cups and birdcages behind, more brides are choosing with the elegant and glamorous touches to their wedding. This year we’ll hopefully see more sparkle, art deco, candles, candelabras and the Hollywood glamour styled themed weddings.

Glitz and Glam Art Deco Hollywood ‘The Great Gatsby’

Elegant Gold, silver and black themed invites, glitter and sequined tables combined with hints of pearls, crystals and feathers for that Hollywood feel. Metallic and bold stripes is key with ‘The Great Gatsby’ look but sparkle is a must!

Classic Timeless Romance

Blush pinks and peach colours combined with sparkly silvers, with pearls or crystals, for a timeless classic look. Mirrors and glass plates used for the luxurious feel.

Nature Inspired

Bringing the garden inside, with natural elements such as tree bark, logs, twigs, pine cones and moss. With minimal floral table pieces- gypsophila works well combined with lots of foliage and ivy!

Candles and candelabras are on trend, they add a great relaxed atmosphere to a room but also adds that sparkle! Lanterns and tea lights are another beautiful way to make the room twinkle!
